Adult French Language Training

The French Language Services Directorate’s Adult French Language Training Centre, in collaboration with the Association franco-yukonnaise, offers French classes to government employees and the public. All levels are offered, from Beginner to Advanced. Classes take place at the Adult French Language Training Centre on Wood Street.

Weekly classes are offered from September to April, with two 12-week semesters running from September to December and again from January to April. Classes are two hours long and take place once a week, during the daytime or in the evening.

One-week intensive classes are offered at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels during the months of May and June. No classes are offered in July and August.
Registration occurs on a first-come, first served basis. A brief oral assessment is conducted upon registration to determine the appropriate level.
