Overview

Call for artists

On July 5 and 6, the Government of Yukon will be hosting the 23rd Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie, with this year’s theme “Keeping in Touch.”

The Conference brings together provincial and territorial ministers responsible for Canadian Francophonie issues, and the Minister of Canadian Heritage. This network’s mandate is to enhance services in French across the country.

Traditionally, the government hosting the Conference pays tribute to its arts community. In that spirit, a Yukon cultural evening is scheduled for July 5, 2018, at the Old Fire Hall, under the artistic direction of the Association franco-yukonnaise.

Francophone and Francophile artists are being sought to round out the program for the event.
