On this site, you will learn about translation services that ensure public campaigns, websites, advertising and brochures of the government are in French as well as English.  You will find out about ongoing dialogue between the government and Yukon’s French-speaking community.  And, you will learn about the importance of government services in the community’s priority areas of justice, health, social services, public safety, economic development, education, and communication. >Our government established the Directorate in April 2006, replacing the former bureau, and naming – for the first time – a minister responsible.  I am proud to be serving as that minister. 

It is rewarding to be able to serve Yukoners in the official language of their choice.  I myself have been developing my French language skills so that I can speak to Francophone Yukoners in French.  It is an experience I truly enjoy.
