World Acadian Congress
The Minister responsible for the French Language Services Directorate Glenn Hart took part in the 4th World Acadian Congress from August 13 to August 16 in New-Brunswick, in the beautiful Acadian Peninsula region. This very significant event allowed him to witness the Acadian pride and to celebrate the Acadian culture and history.
Some of his colleagues and counterparts from the Ministerial Conference on Canadian Francophonie were also present. From left to right: Glenn Hart, Gregory Selinger from Manitoba, Hedard Albert from New-Brunswick, June Draude from Saskatchewan, Hector Goudrau from Alberta, Graham Steele from Nova Scotia and Jackson Lafferty from the Northwest Territories.

During the Congress, Minister Hart met with members of the Yukon Youth Delegation who were attending the Great Youth Gathering in Tracadie-Sheila with other young Francophones from all over Canada and Europe. Minister Hart recognized the important role that youth plays in the survival of the Canadian francophonie.
